About Coach Jessie

A native of New Westminster, British Columbia, Leung enters his second year as Trail Smoke Eaters Assistant Coach. Prior to joining the Smoke Eaters, Leung spent 6 seasons coaching in the BC Major Midget League with the last three as Head Coach. His 73-35-10-4 record as Head Coach behind the bench includes a league championship in 2015/2016 and sees him leave as the club leader in wins. In addition to his time with the Hawks, Leung has been an active participant in the BC Hockey Program of Excellence where he served as the Assistant Coach last season for Team BC at the 2016 Western Canada Challenge Cup and a further two seasons as video coach at the 2015 Canada Winter Games and the 2012 Western Canada Challenge Cup.
